However, my area, Ayotla is the best. Obviously! We had a HUGE baptismal service yesterday, and eight of our brothers and sisters entered into the waters of baptism, and thus into the True church of God. I cannot even Begin to express como fuerte el Espiritu Santo fue. Podía yo sentir con cada fibra de mi alma que esta Iglesia es verdadera. Que José Smith fue llamado ser un profeta de Dios y restaurar la misma Iglesia que Jesucristo estableció cuando estaba en la tierra. Ojalá que ustedes pueden sentir este mismo sentimiento que sentirán un fuego en sus corazones cada vez tienen una oportunidad para compartir sus testimonios. (how strong the Holy Spirit was there. I can feel with every fiber of my being that the church is true. That Jospeh Smith was called as a prophet of God and restored the same church as Jesus Christ established when he was on othe earth. I hope that you can feel this same feelings with the fire in your hearts each time you have an opportunity to share your testimonies.)
Also! It was la semana santa (Passover) here in Mexico, so they burned the hill. El Cerro Elefante, (The Elephant Hill) a HUGE HUGE hill that no one lives on, they burned it. It was CRAZY!! Also, un buen de personas caminaban en las calles con muchos tipos diferentes de (a good number of people were walking in the street in different types of) costumes and masks and thinks like that. Un cuate en a gorilla suit was hanging out outside our apartment. It was hilarious!
So as far as studies go, I´ve been praying and studying to know more and understand more about the Atonement of Christ. Unbeknownst to me, one of our investigators, se llama Roberto, truly experienced the power and magnitude of the Atonement. Turns out that before he met us, he was involved in some pretty deep stuff. Alcohol, drugs, robbing, killing, the whole nine yards. However, he knew that it was wrong. He was searching to find a way out and to somehow make up for these things in his life. Then one day, after praying and offering his whole soul and life to finding the truth, and serving the Lord, his car broke down. As he was trying to push this ancient Beatle up a hill, what do you know? Two 20 year olds dressed in white shirts and ties came and helped him push his car, all 5 miles home. As we pushed and helped him, we actually ended up teaching him, and he found the answer to his prayer. He´s gone through probably one of the most trying and powerful repentance processes that I´ve ever seen, and yesterday, his faith was rewarded as he stepped into the font, and left all of his sins beneath the waters.
2 Nephi 9:21-23 "And he cometh into the world that he may save all men if they will hearken unto his voice; for behold, he suffereth the pains of all men, yea, the pains of every living creature, both men, women, and children, who belong to the family of Adam. And he suffereth this that the resurrection might pass upon all men, that all might stand before him at the great and judgement day. And he commandeth all men that they must repent, and be baptized in his name, having perfect faith in the Holy One of Israel, or they cannot be saved in the kingdom of God."

D&C 45:3-5 "Listen to him who is the advocate with the Father, who is pleading your cause before him -
Saying: Father, behold the sufferings and death of him who did no sin, in whom thou wast well pleased; behold the blood of thy Son which was shed, the blood of him whom thou gavest that thyself might be glorified;
Wherefore, Father, spare these my brethren that believe on my name, that they may come unto me and have everlasting life."
Christ already suffered for each and every one of us. Everything that we have done, everything that we will do, every pain, sorrow, temptation, and agony that we suffer in this life, he did as well. He did it to save us, to help us to have a chance back to the Father, and a chance to live with Him, with our Heavenly Father, and with our Families, forever.
I will ALWAYS be grateful and in his debt. The sins that we carry don´t have to stay with us. The Atonement has been made. Forgiveness is on the table, all you have to do, is be willing to stretch out and accept it.
3 Nephi 12:2
"And again, more blessed are they who shall believe in your words because that ye shall testify that ye have seen me, and that ye know that I am. Yea, blessed are they who shall believe in your words, and come down into the depths of humility and be baptized, for they shall be visited with fire and with the Holy Ghost, and shall receive a remission of their sins."
"Here´s my heart, oh, take and seal it. Seal it for thy courts above"
